What will be your role?
Join us as Hotel Training Specialist in this exciting new role at the Conservatorium Hotel, where you will help lead our commitment to fostering continuous growth and development. You will be an inspirational presence, often “on the floor,” to support our operational teams with on-the-job and class-room training. Your role is critical in embedding our Forbes Quality standards, developing our teams, and delivering tangible improvements in service levels. Your role also includes:

• Drive excellence in quality and service standards through targeted training initiatives;
  
• Develop and implement training programmes tailored to address specific operational challenges;
  
• Facilitate introduction training and organise on-the-job training for new hires;
  
• Monitor and adapt training programmes to optimise outcomes;
  
• Coordinate closely with management and Human Resources to identify new training needs;
  
• Prepare training materials, including handbooks, visual aids, and presentations;
  
• Coordinate with external training providers to deliver specialised training;
  
• Provide support in training administration.

Who are we looking for?
Our ideal Hotel Training Specialist is an experienced professional with a passion for delivering impactful training sessions. You will engage with colleagues that have a variety of preferred learning styles in a demanding luxury hotel setting. You are not just a trainer; you are a motivator who can inspire and develop others. Furthermore, you have/are:

• Minimum of 4 years in a training role, preferably in the service or hospitality industry;
  
• A degree in Human Resources or Hotel Management is preferred;
  
• Proficiency in English (Dutch is preferred);
  
• Knowledge of training methodologies and learning principles;
  
• Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills paired with organisational awareness;
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software;
  
• Willingness to incidentally work evenings or weekends.
