Working in a team in which 12.000 Rabobank colleagues clients are relying on your application to support their work for 8 million customers. You are crucial for them to be able to get information about transactions worth only a few euros or millions. To be able to serve these colleagues that are in contact with our customers, we offer them BOC, a cloud based application providing access to all information with regard to transactions.
As Senior Java developer with solid test experience, you’re part of a team who works on a Rabobank internal application that supports our 12.000 internal end users 24/7. The team just finalised their cloud move and is working on an exciting backlog of new functionality. As a Dev Ops squad we are together responsible for the continuation and development of the application. We follow the principle: You build it, you run it!
Together, we’ll facilitate that large numbers of payments and savings orders can be delivered and processed on a daily basis and can require support towards our customers. We are the trusted partner and crucial to ensure our colleagues have all information needed to support our customers.
You and your job
As part of our Dev Ops team, you’re together with the team responsible for the full lifecycle, from idea to implementation, to operation, including monitoring, logging and alerting.
Have an igniting enthusiasm in solving complex puzzles together with the team and coach/mentor team members while doing so, especially in the area of testing. You will be working with an agile team handling internal web application, design develop and maintain frontend(angular) and backend apis.
Step into the realm of direct connect services, proactively thinking about solutions and improvements together with the team.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with good test qualifications and with the right skillset to help us drive our company’s success. Do you have the following essential skills that will make you stand out?

Must have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of working experience doing Java development
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber
• Solid exposure towards Springboot / microservices Architecture
• Working experience building CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops(or maybe Jenkins)
• Expertise in understanding and using databases like Postgres or SQL
• Decent knowledge about front end architecture and Angular JS/Angular
• Working experience with logging/monitoring tooling like Splunk, Dynatrace
• Exposure towards cloud architecture and or using AWS/Azure cloud(Paa S)

Nice to have:

• Expertise or knowledge of performance testing using JMeter
• Expertise with Cloud Foundry
• Expertise of working with security layer of APIs
• Experience with using AI tools like Chat GPT or Git co-pilot
• Fluent in speaking Dutch

This is what we offer you

• Salary between €4.292 and €6.130 gross per month (scale 9), 36 hours per week (40 hours possible);
• Thirteenth (13th) month's salary and (8% )holiday allowance;
• an extra budget of (11%) of your gross monthly salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or to be paid out.
• Hybrid position and working from home Net allowance
• 100 % reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance;
• A pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 5,5%.
