If you have a commitment to detail and a flair for data, we invite you to use your shills on behalf of the ACC Unit at Waitematā District. Be a key part of our small Revenue team and manage monthly billing processes (>$1m) to ACC which result in crucial revenue for Health NZ. You will manage billing/accruals and reconcile financial data to the General Ledger; linking with wider Finance and operational staff in the District, as well as ACC. Utilising excellent data skills you will prepare reporting which is circulated to senior managers, complete bespoke analysis and maximise revenue recovery via sophisticated use of reports and expertise in applying business rules.
You must have high-level Excel skills, basic accounting experience, customer service and ideally, office administration for at least 3-4 years. You’ve preferably worked in a DHB/District setting using a Patient Management System, Concerto/Clinical Portal and Oracle/FPIM finance systems. An ACC or health insurance background could be similarly useful.
You will enjoy a close-knit team environment but will also work autonomously at a high level, with a number of unique responsibilities in this specialised area.
