Who You'll Work With
You’ll be working with Mc Kinsey Implementation (MI) in one of our offices in Australia or New Zealand. Our implementation experts help organizations in all sectors and functions accelerate and sustain execution their change management efforts.
MI provides continuous, distinctive support to our clients to ensure they achieve and sustain the full benefits of Mc Kinsey’s recommended changes. Our implementation consultants are involved from strategy through execution with a disciplined eye on impact and sustainability at every stage of the project life-cycle. We are developing a strong team and are looking for exceptional individuals to join us.
As an MI colleague within Mc Kinsey, you’ll work collaboratively with our client project teams solving their toughest problems, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of Mc Kinsey’s recommended change in their business.

What You'll Do
You will work in small teams with colleagues and clients to build the strategies, capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom line results and ensure those results are sustained over time.
Our work is about coaching others to achieve success in implementing new approaches and delivering lasting outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to manage projects and progress with minimal supervision, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, and preparing communications to report back to client and internal leadership. Additionally, you'll develop practical recommendations and contribute to team discussions on implications of analysis; identifying implementation challenges.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree
  • 8+ years of work experience in one of the following industries: oil & gas, engineering, mining, energy, financial services, banking, insurance, public sector
  • Proven experience in applying well-developed problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a transformational/capability building activity
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Strong interest and passion for coaching or mentoring clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
  • Willingness to travel
