Butchery Assistant Part Time – New World Wanaka
Are you looking to learn all the ropes of a butchery under great leadership who love to teach? We are looking for an enthusiastic Butchery Assistant to come on board and work their way up in the butchery world.
We love seeing people succeed and this is a great learning opportunity for the right person.
Tasks and attributes for the Butchery Assistant role include:

• Delivering great customer service
• Packing, pricing and displaying products
• Assisting the team with production and cleaning
• Being a positive team player with the energy to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence with Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards and able to uphold these on a daily basis within the current Food Control Plan.

About you
You will be a passionate person who wants to learn all things about the Butchery!
The Right Person who is reliable and hardworking, could potentially become a Butchery Apprentice in six months’ time.
No previous experience required, but any time in butchery or similar is a massive asset.
To be successful in this role, you need to be:

• Reliable and hardworking
• Willing to learn all the ropes of a butchery.
• Fit as some heavy lifting required

Initial days and hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.
