Mō te tūnga | About the role
We're looking for an experienced hospitality star to lead Open Polytechnic's Cafe and catering functions. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Ngā pūkenga mo te tūnga | What you will bring to the role
You'll be great with people, excel in customer service and love leading a team to be their best. You'll need to have front of house experience and kitchen management - as well as being able to make an amazing coffee!
As this role provides supervision to the Café and Catering services, the role will include all tasks required for the smooth operation of both, so you won't mind rolling up your sleeves when required.
Skills & Experience

• Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced environment and the variety of tasks a café environment brings.
• Barista trained
• Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
• Excellent customer service
• Eftpos transactions
