Contract: Permanent, Part-time, Rostered-Rotating, 0.6 FTE (1 position)
About the role:
As a Care Associate in the Emergency Department at City Medical Napier, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team to deliver high-quality care to patients during their most critical times. This position involves working closely with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.

Skills and experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an emergency department or similar fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

A strong understanding of health and safety protocols, and the ability to adhere to them strictly.
