Commercial Integration Lead

The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about media and looking to make a significant impact in the industry? NZME is seeking a dynamic and proactive Commercial Integration Lead to join our team. In this role, you will support the Commercial Integration Manager(s) throughout the sales process across your allocated brand portfolio - The Hits, Coast and GOLD (Lifestyle Brands). You will take the lead on allocated Audio briefs and ensure that integrated campaigns are delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue Growth:
  • Proactively and reactively contribute to the achievement of the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets of the brand(s) within your allocated brand portfolio.
  • Lead brainstorm sessions to develop customer centric proactive and reactive solutions that resonate with the audience(s) to drive conversion and in turn revenue uplift.
  • Create proposals that include a clear rationale and idea that solve the client’s marketing problem.
  • Be able to effectively and confidently sell-in ideas by leading presentations of reactive or proactive commercially integrated opportunities for your portfolio's brands.
Implementation & Campaign Management:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of allocated sold campaigns, working closely with the CI Manager to execute campaigns
  • Take the lead on internal and end client communication and implementation across major sponsorships across your portfolios brands as allocated by the CI Manager.
  • On a case-by-case basis, working directly with end clients if required by the sales teams during the implementation of select campaigns.
  • Monitor performance over the campaign duration, providing recommendations on campaign optimisation to ensure client KPI’s are met.
Administration:
  • With direction of the CI Manager, take the lead on ensuring proactive commercial integration opportunity collateral for the brand(s) within your portfolio is up-to-date and refreshed regularly.
  • Accurate management of avails within your brand portfolios promotional calendar(s).
  • Collation of best use of radio examples throughout each calendar year for Radio Award entries.
  • Development of case studies to demonstrate the success of brand activity.
  • Develop an understanding of NZME’s departments and wider commercial opportunities to be able to confidently present opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build relationships with all key internal stakeholders including Commercial, Integration, Content, Production, Sound & Vision, Sales and Talent.
  • Where required, present relevant integrated responses to internal and external stakeholders with confidence in your response and alignment with client strategy
  • Work with Promotions Directors or equivalent to lead development of proactive proposals and work with sales teams presenting internally and externally if required.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant departments to look for ways to extend radio led ideas into print/digital/NIMs etc.
About You:
  • Broadcasting, media, or business graduate.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of radio or media experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commercially savvy and customer-centric.
  • Proactive, driven, and a creative thinker.
  • Problem solver, responsible, and accountable.
