Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our busy maintenance team. We have 12 sites throughout the eastern suburbs of Wellington supporting around 1400 crew and operate Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends as required).
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Changing light bulbs
Basic plumbing
Patching and painting
Shifting and relocating office furniture
Maintaining and tidying storage and communal areas
Interacting with crew and responding promptly to work requests as they come in

About you:
As part of a larger maintenance team, workload and jobs are shared, so willingness to "muck in" with the more mundane tasks is essential. Please include any trade experience as any trade skills will be considered as beneficial to the team/role and be taken into account when assessing applications.
The role will report into the Facilities & Compliance Manager who is responsible for maintaining the property portfolio and ensuring exceptional customer service to any wider Wētā FX crew regarding the provision of the working environment.
As the successful applicant you’ll be self-motivated, have a polite and approachable manner and have excellent time management skills. Ideally you will have several years’ experience in a trade, or a similarly fast paced work environment and be able to hit the ground running. You have your full driver’s license with a good driving record.
We are a tight knit team who work closely with each other and the wider Wētā FX crew so communication and a positive “can do” attitude is important.
