Learning & Development Adviser - DTA/DCS

Te tūranga - The role
The Learning and Development team are looking for a curious, passionate Fixed Term Learning Adviser to join the Deposit Takers Act (DTA) and the Depositor Compensation Scheme (DCS) Programme until 29th August 2025.
Using instructional design and change management techniques, the Learning Adviser will support the Change Management Team and the Learning & Development Manager to analyse and identify learning requirements, and develop learning interventions to ensure that change is implemented successfully.
In this role you will:
- Understand and interpret the Programme's change management plans to design and develop blended learning solutions.
- Provide advice to the Change Team and business leaders on learning solutions that will support and enable business change.
- Maintain and develop learning content that will ensure change is landed successfully.
- Manage and maintain Te Pūtea Matua's Learning Management System (LMS).
You're a person who puts the learner - front and centre - of your design methodologies and you are always looking at innovative ways to deliver this learning content. You enjoy working collaboratively with your colleagues and stakeholders to formulate the best methods and outcomes by drawing on their skills and experiences.
You will also bring to this role:
- Experience providing L&D/training advice and solutions on a large-scale policy or legislation programme.'
- Experience working within a change management team providing training solutions for teams impacted by business ch: ange (behaviour, policy, process and technology).
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience in using co-design methodologies.
- Industry recognised qualification in adult learning would be preferable.
- Experience using tools associated with learning and development including relevant Adobe design tools, Articulate 360, Rise 360.
