Parcel Sorter/ Freight Operator

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating across NZ from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Freight Operator to join our Wanganui team.

- Load and unload all freight safely and securely.
- Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
- Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
- Action bay labels, re-stacking of damaged freight, protecting leaking product.
- Maintain good working relationships.
- Communicate effectively within a team environment.
What you’ll need
- Prior work experience in the freight industry
- A strong health and safety focus
- OSH approved forklift certificate
- F endorsed licence (preferred but not essential)
- Prior long fork experience (preferred but not essential)
- An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential)
