Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
As a Payroll Advisor you will provide Payroll support to our kaimahi, including the provision of advice on legislation, terms & conditions and policy as and when required. You will put stakeholder engagement at the forefront of what you do and ensure a fantastic customer experience.
The Payroll Advisor is part of a wider team who is responsible for workforce information, insights, and systems. A key focus for the team is to put people information and insights at the fingertips of leaders, rationalising and systems and processes, and implementing new approaches where required to enable self-service, and provide consistent, repeatable outcomes and data points to underpin our people strategy. As Payroll Advisor you will offer seamless support to the team to enable us to deliver against these goals and provide an overall high-quality service.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Experience delivering payroll services in a government agency and in accordance with good employment practice
  • Proven background, 3+ years, in end-to-end payroll
  • Experience working in a large or complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation in the New Zealand context
  • Demonstrated ability to check data integrity through reporting and reconciliation
Whānuitanga Utu ā-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is from $90,160 up to $109,279 p/a. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
