We are looking for a self-motivated Quarry Operator/Administration Support to join our Gore Quarry team. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for safely operating a range of quarry plant including loaders and trucks, as well as providing administration support for daily operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and close-knit team, who share your passion for operating heavy plant. You will have ongoing opportunities to develop your skillset in quarry plant operations.

In addition to the above you will

Have a proven track record of delivering a high standard of work in all tasks undertaken
Be competent using Microsoft programmes like Excel and Outlook
Drive and operate trucks and machinery in a professional and safe manner, always aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and wellbeing of others
Take part in pre-start meetings - understand the hazards and the plan to control them, always speak up if not sure
Be self-motivated to work, learn and up-skill

We're looking for someone with

Class 4 full licence with experience operating trucks.
WTR endorsements with experience operating loaders
Minimum of 2 years operating heavy machinery experience
Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
Quarry operations knowledge will be beneficial
Good understanding of site safety and hazard management
Excellent communication with co-workers and management
