Kawarau Park is looking for a full-time Receptionist/Sterilisation Assistant to join their team. The team provide oral health care for long term patients and new patients from all walks of life. This is a fixed term role
Job Description
As the Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, handling patient recalls, completing payment processing, banking, and other admin duties. With this role, there is room for growth and development.
When you are working as a Sterilisation Assistant you will be a critical part of our team! You will support our highly experienced team of clinicians. You will take responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and stock control. Working beside experienced Dentists will give you a great insight into our practice and a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best.
The hours for the role are below:
- Monday: 7.45 am - 5.00 pm
- Tuesday: 7.45 am - 5.00 pm
- Wednesday: 7.45 am - 5.00 pm
- Thursday: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm
- Friday: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm
Qualifications
We are seeking a person with:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk or Administrator
- Previous experience as a Dental or Sterilisation Assistant
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn and adapt
