Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The AUT Pacific Health Research Centre seeks to appoint a Research Fellow - Project Manager (fixed term for 3 years) to work on research projects undertaken by the Centre, primarily the longitudinal Pacific Islands Families Study. This role will involve obtaining ethical approval for research projects, developing and designing surveys, managing data collection and supervising research staff, and assisting with data management. It will also involve conceiving and developing funding application grants, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, preparing reports and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and disseminating research results in national and international fora.

This Research Fellow position requires a candidate with a Ph D or Master's degree in health, social, or biological sciences, extensive experience in quantitative research and data analysis, and a self-motivated, organised, meticulous, and reliable team player. Candidates with experience in undertaking Pacific-focused research will be prioritised.
Salary Range: $90,957-$96,542 (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
