Job Summary

What you will do

• Work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutions for our customers
• Contribute to technical development and technical support
• Assist with quotation and design of automation projects
• Validate / review technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions with your peers, customers, and suppliers
• Coordinate, manage and implement the engineering, delivery and support of automation projects
• Travel to support the delivery of automation projects
• Act as an ambassador for Macro Automation & Tetra Pak

We believe you have

• A proven ability to deliver on automation projects, ideally five or more years’ experience. Food and beverage industry exposure is preferred
• A good understanding of automation systems and processes
• Leadership skills and a willingness to support and grow junior team members
• A university degree in engineering specializing in automation/software/mechatronics or electrical
• Skills in multiple PLC platforms (such as Rockwell / Schneider / Siemens)
• Skills in multiple HMI platforms (such as Intouch / System Platform / FTView / Ignition)
• Experience with automation software simulation / Factory Acceptance Testing
• Experience with commissioning automation solutions in a factory environment
• New Zealand or Australian residency with full working rights
• Full New Zealand driver’s license
