The Role
Are you a passionate and ambitious university student looking to gain hands-on experience in Software Engineering this summer? Join us at Seequent, where you'll have the chance to contribute to real-world projects and solve meaningful problems! As an intern at Seequent, you'll work closely with our skilled software engineers and testers, receiving mentorship and guidance on projects that will significantly impact both your academic and personal development.
Our technology stack is built on a diverse range of open-source software’s, primarily using python. If you’re not familiar with Python, don’t worry – as we have many developers who began their careers with C#, C++ or Java. We are an agile development company using state of the art tools to tackle complex problems supported by code reviews and lots of exploratory and automated testing.
These full-time roles will run from mid-November 2024 to the end of January 2025, with time-off over the Christmas/New Year period. You will be based in our modern office overlooking Hagley Park. Applicants must have recently completed or be advanced in study towards either an Engineering degree with a focus on software, or a Computer Science degree.

- Recently completed, or are in advanced study towards either an Engineering degree with a focus on software, or a Computer Science degree.
- Plenty of enthusiasm and motivation to thrive in a tech-driven environment.
- Great interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and a team-oriented attitude.
- A curiosity about agile methods and a willingness to learn through the Scrum Methodology.
- A desire to get "hands on" and deliver work that contributes to real-world success.
