The IT team are a 25-strong team of friendly professionals providing IT support to the people behind our retail and trucking brands such as Continental Cars BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari, as well as Truck Stops, TWL, MTD, Palfinger, and Hyster.

The Role
We're looking for a talented and energetic person to join our Digital Technology team in Auckland, on a 12 Month Fixed-Term contract. In this role you will work closely with Technology Specialist - Process Automation to support the role to deliver our day-to-day process automation transformation to digital workflows and RPA solutions.

About you
The ideal candidate will already have experience in a Process Automation environment where you will drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. You will be good in collection process details and working with the team to automate the process and manage end to end change and support of the new processes.

Key responsibilities include
  • Act as the change manager for all automation delivery.
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support to all Sime Darby process automation.
  • Help support and delivery of automation process rollout.
  • Document all Process Development, create Training Manuals.
  • Promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate and follow up.
  • Maintains records and communicates to users about the process, and solutions.
  • Assists with the development of standards, and applies these to track, monitor, report, resolve or escalate issues. Contributes to creation of support documentation.
  • Facilitates recovery, following resolution of incidents. Documents and closes resolved incidents.
  • Report on progress and resolves issues.


Candidates must have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business or equivalent
  • Relevant working experience in the respective technology domain
  • Well-versed with design flow, business process mapping and data analysis for online/offline customer and marketing data.
  • Experience in Power platform tools or similar
  • Practical knowledge in business analysis concepts and techniques.
  • Experience in KUBE workflow will be preferred (Training can Provided)
  • Process mapping tools knowledge.
  • Background in Technology Customer Support functions or Software Development.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Project Management and Change Management concepts.
  • Working experience in supporting ERP, CRM, DMS systems(preferred).
  • Background in business process design, ERP, CRM, DMS implementations with good analytical skill (preferred)
The initiative and people skills to provide effective troubleshooting assistance. Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service - you'll be clear, friendly, and concise. Good time management skills and proven ability to see projects through to completion.
You'll be based in our Newmarket/Mt Wellington/Wiri office, working 40 hours Mon-Fri between the hours of 7.00am and 5.30pm.
