What is the role?
As the Venue Manager for our Kingpin Queenstown venue, you will be the leader of the pack and the captain of FUN! You will be responsible for influencing the success of this venue & championing our values every day.
In addition, you will:
- Lead the Heads of Departments and other hiring managers through recruitment, training, performance management and succession planning.
- Motivate the team in a positive and effective manner to ensure productivity and teamwork are always maintained at a high standard.
- Deliver FUN and memorable moments for our guests, through collaboration, communication, and a Guest-OBSESSED mindset.
- Lead our day-to-day venue operations through consistently delivering REMARKABLE guest experiences.
- Identify opportunities and make decisions to build revenue and boost the guest experience!
- Drive a positive working environment and lead by example!
This venue is the epitome of fun and excitement! To thrive in this role, you will have a razor-sharp focus on ensuring our guest experience is second to none.
In addition, you will possess:
- Hands on & effective management skills, with experience managing a busy hospitality/retail/entertainment venue.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with the effective financial management of a venue.
- The ability to lead from the front and deliver high standards.
- A pro-active attitude and innovative leadership skills that can not only achieve results but inspire your team to push just as hard as you.
- Strong relationship building skills to effortlessly create amazing experiences for our corporate & social group bookings.
- Passionate about guest experience & ensuring everyone you serve leaves smiling
