We are seeking a committed Produce pick-packer to work full-time on night shifts attached to our Wellington Produce Team. You will be part of a dynamic group that prepare, process, and pack fresh vegetables and fruits according to customer orders.

• Immediate start role
• Night shift - 8.00 pm to 4.30 am (approx.)
• Days - Sunday to Thursday
• Location: William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt
• Permanent full-time role

The job:
As a pick packer, you would be preparing vegetables, pulling, packing, and shipping fresh produce supplies as well as help loading and delivering the supplies onto trucks for delivery.
The main tasks include:

• Picking & packing orders
• Assist in dispatching orders
• Assist with handling stocks and restocking
• Some heavy lifting up to 25kg

The candidate:


You will be someone who can work unsupervised to achieve results. Our Produce depot operates in a temperature-controlled environment; you would ideally be comfortable working in this cold environment, be physically fit, and have the ability to lift some weights, up to 25 Kgs at times.
You will have –

• Some Produce Pick Packing work experience
• Previous experience working in a chiller and/or depot environment
• Class 1 driver's license
• Reliable transport and flexibility with hours
• Clear communication skills
• Reasonably good reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• A confident, flexible attitude with attention to detail
• Prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients
