Ajayi Polytechnic was established and approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and
the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in May 2017. The institution was
established with the vision to train and produce giants who will be able to develop the skills
needed for promoting business based on Technology. The Polytechnic was also established to
provide necessary training and appropriate vocational skills that will make the individual self-
reliant, gainfully employed or as an employer of labour.


AJAYI POLYTECHNIC has achieved numerous academic achievements in the few years since
its inception. Its programs include the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma
(HND).
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following
Academic positions in the School of Sciences, Engineering Technology and Management
Sciences
A) Departments in the School of Sciences:
i. Computer Sciences

B) Departments in the School of Engineering Technology:

C) Departments of School of Management Sciences:

Qualifications Required:
A) Senior Lecturer:
The candidate must have a Ph.D. with at least nine (9) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in tertiary institutions plus at least seven (7) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals plus registration with relevant professional bodies, where applicable.
B) Lecturer I:
The candidate must have an Academic Master Degree, from a reputable Institution and
at least six (6) years of teaching, research and administrative experience in tertiary
institutions plus at least five (5) scholarly publications in reputable local and
international learned journals plus registration with relevant professional bodies, where
applicable. A Ph.D. is will be an added advantage.
C) Lecturer II:
The candidate must have an Academic Master Degree, Bachelor Degree and at least two
(2) Years of teaching, research and administrative experience in tertiary institutions plus
at least three (3) scholarly publications in reputable local and international learned
journals plus registration with relevant professional bodies, where applicable. Master
Degree from a reputable Institution will be an added advantage.
D) Lecturer III:
The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree and at least one (1) Year of teaching
experience in tertiary institutions plus at least one (1) scholarly publication in reputable
local and international learned journals plus registration with relevant professional bodies,
where applicable.
E)Technologist:
The candidate must have a Higher National Diploma (HND) and at least three (3)
years of cognate experience in tertiary institutions plus adept knowledge of required
practical in their field registration with relevant professional bodies, where applicable

As contained in the approved conditions of service for staff of the Ajayi Polytechnic.
NOTE: Membership of relevant professional body(s) is a crucial added advantage.
