Assistant Director of Engineering - Leading City Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria

Join a renowned city hotel with 300+ rooms, multiple F&B outlets, and extensive function facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing daily engineering operations.
- Manage maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including rooms, F&B outlets, and function spaces.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs.
- Supervise and train a team of skilled technicians and engineers.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
Proven experience in hotel engineering or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications.
Benefits:
