Delon Jobs is seeking to hire a Network Administrator for a leading insurance company in Nigeria. The Network Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and other systems. This role ensures the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users. The Network Administrator will also be involved in designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of new networks, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
Experience required is 5 - 7 years hands-on experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing complex systems and security measures. Gross salary is N10,000,000 per annum. The Job is fully onsite.

Main Responsibilities:
Network architecture planning and design:
1. Review existing IT network designs: WANs and LANs.
2. Design IT Network in line with Custodian’s current and future strategic plans.
3. Ensure implementation of the network plan.
4. Ensure the optimal support and cost-effective provisioning of the IT network.
5. Facilitate and shape discussion, providing technical detail and contextual advice.
6. Provide Technical Policies & standards around Connectivity & Domain management.
7. Ensure Optimal and efficient network design.
8. Ensure Network security through recommendation of firewalls; Intrusion detection system (IDS) and Web application factors (WAFs).
9. Ensure that network patterns monitoring methods or software are in place.
IT Network management:
1. Simplify, improve, exploit, and rationalize existing networks: WANs and LANs
Manage installation and deployment of new network equipment
2. Design performance measurements for the implemented network architecture
3. Produce reports on the performance of the network.
4. Ensure the security and integrity of all electronic information assets of the company.
5. Establish close working relationship with Infrastructure architecture & ensure alignment of efforts.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the IT team to design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
2. Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Performance Optimization:
1. Monitor resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
2. Optimize network performance and reliability by performing network tuning and resource balancing

Qualifications:
