Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Project Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations, ensure efficient execution of projects, and lead strategic initiatives across our real estate and laundry divisions. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, improving productivity, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in line with Nathans Limited’s business goals.

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Project Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations, ensure efficient execution of projects, and lead strategic initiatives across our real estate and laundry divisions. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, improving productivity, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in line with Nathans Limited’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple branches, ensuring efficiency, quality service delivery, and adherence to operational standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for real estate and laundry divisions to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage the operational teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor key operational metrics (KPIs), including cost control, turnaround times, quality of service, and client satisfaction, to drive performance enhancements.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with operational protocols, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance overall productivity and service delivery.
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to branch expansion, service upgrades, new product/service launches, and infrastructure development.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage project risks, anticipate roadblocks, and devise contingency plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to the executive team, highlighting key insights, progress, and any deviations from project plans.
- Work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvements, particularly in expanding into new regions.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of resources and minimize operational costs without compromising service quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align operational capacities with market demands and customer expectations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation in our service offerings.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with the finance department to monitor operational expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive profitability.
- Conduct financial forecasting and analysis for ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the operations and project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and operational skills, ensuring a high-performance environment.
- Establish clear objectives for team members and monitor progress toward achieving performance goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in operations management and project management, preferably in the real estate, laundry, or service industry.
- Proven experience managing multi-location operations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or MS Project).
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and drive business growth.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Operations Management is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational software is desirable.
- Demonstrated success in expanding businesses into new markets or regions.
Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
