JOB TITLE: Team Lead, Projects (Design and Build)

ABOUT CLIENT: The Future Edge is a global consulting and business support solution company. We are seeking ‘Team Lead, Projects’ for our client; a leading Interior design and Installation Services company in Nigeria.
JOB ROLE: Team Lead, Projects is responsible for the Design and Build Strategic Business Unit. Team Lead Projects is tasked with the planning, creation and implementation of designs as well as the execution of all Design and build aspects of projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Effectively working with clients to discuss the design requirements for successful project completion.
·Gathering all the necessary measurements and other routine calculations for the design layouts.
·Providing clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends.
.Professionally developing estimates on costs, project timeline and other specifications and requirements.
· Working within set budgets, working with the finance department to track project budget spending.
·Producing detailed blueprints and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
·Controlling projects from start to finish ensuring high quality, innovative and functional design and liaising with construction professionals.
·Visiting and overseeing worksites to ensure project execution in line with original architectural design plan.
·Ensuring that all works are compliant with industry standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
·Collaborating with the General Manager to source necessary products and materials.
·Collaborating with the Marketing manager to promote the Design and Build business unit of the company.
·Keeping abreast with new architectural trends, design templates and design advancements.
·Performing other related operational and administrative duties as assigned by management.
· Supervisory Responsibility: The Team Lead Projects will be responsible for the work teams on sites and any other role contracted to execute/implement a project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning or any other relevant discipline.
· Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as an architect within similar industry space.
· Excellent technical skills and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
·Excellent portfolio of previous works
·Project management skill

·Ability to multitask and collaborate with team.
·Exceptional stakeholder’s management and client engagement
·Creativity to shape innovative, unique designs to suit clients’ needs.
