Your next opportunity?
As the CFO of Telia Norway you play a key role as strategic business partner to the CEO and the Norwegian management team with the overall mission to drive the successful implementation of Telia’s strategy, including the ongoing, significant transformation of the business.
The CFO of Telia Norway is a key member of the Group Finance Leadership Team (dotted line to the Group CFO) and plays an instrumental role in being part of shaping the future finance organization that Telia Group is aspiring towards and to achieve the ambition as set out at the recent Capital Market Day.

Focus will be on continuing to develop Telia Norway’s position as the number one challenger in the market and highly trusted digital communications provider, driving further growth through capex investments, organic growth initiatives, the right acquisitions, and driving further margin development through a relentless and continuous focus on efficiency and cost take-out.

Responsibilities
The CFO leads a team responsible for a comprehensive business controlling agenda across all business segments, including B2C, B2B, Infrastructure, B2O (Wholesale and numerous regional partners). The CFO of Telia Norway is tasked with steering local M&A activities and agendas in alignment with Telia Group governance. Additionally, the CFO collaborates with and coordinates support from various centralized functions within the overall finance structure. This includes, but is not limited to Financial Control, Finance Shared Services, Sourcing, Fraud and Credit Management and Revenue Assurance.

Part of this includes the establishment of new ways of working and aligning priorities as part of the overall Group Finance transformation. Going forward, the CFO will continue to develop the finance team and contribute to a successful transformation and governance of the overall finance function in Telia. As importantly, continue to lead the development of Telia Norway and the digitalization of the Norwegian market together with the leadership team.

Who are we looking for?
You should have a strong track record from broad business area/divisional/country CFO roles, including responsibility for business and financial control, consolidation, and, ideally, responsibility for and exposure to relevant tax, working capital, capital allocation/investment decisions, M&A and integration.

The ideal candidate needs to be used to managing a complex business across a broad stakeholder landscape. Telia Norway’s business is characterized by a high degree of complexity, given several factors:

• The sheer size of the business and the size of the finance team as well as its interdependencies across the business and the Group as a whole.
  

• Combination of B2B and B2C and a broad offering/convergence agenda.
  

• Different subscription/recurring revenue models.
  

• High transaction volumes and complex systems landscape under transformation.
  

For personal competencies required for this position, we search for a leader who is:

• Transparent and self-reflective strong team player with great collaborations skills.
  

Ultimately, the most relevant and suitable candidate for the role will be the one who brings the most optimal mix of experiences, competencies and personality/leadership traits to match the challenges in the role, and, importantly, the culture and dynamics of Telia Norway.

• The CFO will be based at Telia’s office in Oslo and should be fully fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
