Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to secure compliance with environmental regulations, a good dialogue with environmental governments, strong environmental management and performance, in close collaboration with asset management and other personnel supporting the same asset.
- Promote climate and environmental performance improvement in operations, and support asset management in reaching ambitious goals.
- Enhance knowledge of environmental regulations, requirements and applicable standards relevant for the asset.
- Support asset management in environmental permit follow up.
- Develop authority applications, quality assure environmental accounting and report environmental data to the authorities.
- Support and advice asset management in climate and environmental risk evaluations, and follow up risk as part of integrated risk management.
- Good collaboration skills
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
- At least 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in environmental management with discharge to sea and emission to air within Operations and/or Drilling in the Oil and Gas industry.
Relevant higher education
Planned end date: 03/04/2025
Option period of 1 x 6 months.
