The Role: We seek a dedicated GIS Specialist who excels in taking projects from concept to completion. You’ll be part of our new GIS team, working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to understand and meet customer needs. Research ability and persistence are important in order to be able to get hold of the data necessary to develop solar projects.
Day to day you will be working with QGIS, Mapbox and Tippecanoe, GDAL / OGR, Python and AWS (AWS Batch, RDS Postgis)
- BSc or MSc in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
- Proficiency in QGIS or Arc GIS (other tools are a bonus).
- Creativity in data presentation.
