Head chef of a hotel (permanent position)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a kitchen team of 20-30 professionals.
- Innovate and adjust menu offerings in alignment with the hotel's standards and guest preferences.
- Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, promoting continuous professional growth.
- Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Lead and manage a kitchen team of 20-30 professionals.
- Innovate and adjust menu offerings in alignment with the hotel's standards and guest preferences, particularly for large-scale events such as weddings and conferences.
- Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
- Expertly manage buffet setups, ensuring an appealing presentation and efficient service.
- Train and develop kitchen staff, promoting continuous professional growth.
- Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or a Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef role.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a sizeable team in a high-volume, international hotel restaurant environment.
- Creative culinary skills with the ability to adapt and innovate menus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly regarded but not essential.
- Deep understanding of buffet service dynamics, especially in the context of large events and gatherings.
