Argeo is an offshore company servicing customers in the Oil and Gas, Marine Minerals and Renewables industry. • Stay updated with relevant HSEQ regulations and standards in the maritime industry, ensuring compliance with these regulatory requirements.
  • Support projects and operations, resolving and/or escalating issues effectively, and overseeing quality control processes.
  • Perform extensive investigations using root cause analysis tools.
  • Ensure continuous improvements in HSEQ performance.
  • Involve in risk management, incident management, and emergency management development.
  • Act as an advisor in HSEQ-related matters.

Proficiency in MS Office and HSEQ reporting software is required, and a basic understanding of offshore surveying methods and principles is beneficial. The position requires in-depth knowledge of maritime HSEQ regulations and standards, and certifications such as SOLAS, STCW,, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent. Ability to travel on short notice is a prerequisite along with unrestricted and current medical certificate and safety course to travel offshore.
  • HSE advisor experience from maritime/offshore vessels.

  • Experience with HSE plans, Emergency Preparedness Plans (ERP), HIRA, bridging documents, and HSE KPIs.
  • Business-level written and spoken English skills; Norwegian language skills are a plus.

  • Experience with risk management, incident management, and emergency management.
  • Documented internal auditor and incident investigation training, along with previous experience in conducting training sessions and workshops is an advantage
  • HSE knowledge in geophysics survey projects and basic understanding of surveying methods and principles is a plus
  • Experience in analyzing HSE issues with root cause analysis tools like fishbone analysis and 5 why analysis.
Personal Skills:

  • Proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High standard of delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Well-organized and able to work systematically and structured.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Confident in making decisions.
We Offer:
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
