Your New Role
Survitec is looking for an energetic and process driven Project Manager who can work on their own initiative and is excited to actively build their career and to create and deliver new product development process.
Your new role will be based at our Kristiansand site, and you will be part of our Business Transformation family who drives large, multi-year shifts in how the business runs, to deliver increased business value.
You will be responsible for one or more Survitec projects supporting business transformation. This role is focused on planning, organising, tracking, reporting and holding people to account for delivering activity to meet transformation and project objectives and achieve business change and ensure resources are assigned appropriately.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- You will translate high level business objectives into actionable plans, identifying and managing milestones and dependencies
- Establish project budget and benefits plan; manage activity to budget, identify and analyse variance; drive activity to release and validate benefit to plan
- Holds the project team to account for delivery of outcomes of the plan: time, cost and quality
- Identify and engage with project stakeholders to understand their needs, issues and challenges, accurately recording project requirements and developing the activity plans to meet them
- Engage and lead the project team; communicate the project vision and outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve defined outcomes
- Organise the project team for success, communicating clear vision for project impact and outcomes
- Manage the project team through gateway approvals process and ad hoc assurance reviews
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate
- Implement appropriate project controls to monitor progress and delivery of benefit
- Assess business impact and develop appropriate change management plans to inform, engage and support colleagues in new ways of working
- Provide appropriate documentation and training to enable successful transition to business as usual
- Contribute to project and programme management communities of practice, supporting business colleagues to develop and utilise project and programme skills in the wider business
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria
- Educated to University degree level; formal post-graduate project management qualification
- Job-related experience enables the role holder to work unsupervised to recognised standards
- Managerial experience, supervising the delivery of other
