Turn challenges into sustainable solutions
The green transition is rapidly accelerating. COWI is a pacesetter in sustainability as we move away from all fossil fuel projects. To solve the energy challenges of tomorrow, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Offshore Wind team. We are 175 enthusiastic colleagues working alongside our customers on some of most significant projects in Offshore Wind. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Empire Wind (North America), St. Nazaire (France) and Formosa 2 (Taiwan).
Your key activities will be:
- Leading and motivating multidisciplinary project teams in our larger international Offshore Wind projects
- Contract management and risk management
- Planning and budgeting
- Handling project changes, realigning scope, deliverables and time schedule
- Develop and maintain good relations with clients
- Leading client meetings
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
On top of that, you will have:
- Relevant B.SC. or M.Sc. preferably within Engineering (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental)
- 7+ years of experience in managing complex projects. It is advantageous if 5 of these years are within OW Packages (e.g., foundation, WTG, electrical, construction) or a closely related field
- The drive to manage, inspire and develop colleagues, both young and experienced
- Outgoing and customer-oriented attitude with great collaboration skills
- Professional communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Ability to work efficiently and structured
A place to work and so much more

We do it by applying our knowledge and curiosity – and sometimes even our courage – to create the solutions the world needs today to enable a better tomorrow. That is why we say no to fossil-based projects and aspire to have 100 % of our revenue come from activities that move our customers towards sustainability.
We value differences and development and cultivate an environment of belonging and having fun. Because that is what brings out the best in you, at work and at home.
With offices primarily located in Scandinavia, the UK, North America and India, we are currently 8000 people who bring their expertise in engineering, architecture, energy and environment into play.
What we also offer:
- Excellent opportunities for personal development through a personal development plan, COWI Academy and the COWI Connect mentoring scheme
- National and international collaboration across the organization and different disciplines. We have approx. 70 different professional networks and knowledge-sharing communities in COWI
- An internal mobility programme committed to supporting you in exploring opportunities in COWI
- Flexible working hours with a home office arrangement
- Competitive salary and benefits
- 26 days annual leave and paid leave between Christmas and New Year
- Company cabins
- Frequent social events
- An active company sports team offering a wide range of sports and activities
- Last, but not least, a good working environment. It is important for us to be generous and stand up for each other, which is also reflected employee surveys
