An exciting opportunity has arisen as Senior Project Planner within the Kongsberg Maritime Automation & Control division. The role will be a part of the Program Management Office (PMO) providing project planning and controlling services to project owners and managers across the business. You will be part of a close-knit team of skilled professionals working closely to support project delivery managers in a variety of offshore and maritime segments.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain project plans for the execution of the work covering schedule, manpower and progress, in accordance with Kongsberg Maritime standard planning methods

Monitor and analyze schedule progress, manpower needs, and assist in analysis against baseline plan and current plan

Prepare and maintain forecast schedule and initiate corrective actions when this schedule deviates from current plan

Prepare reports for the Project Manager including consolidated project schedule, summary updates and S-curves

Participate in preparation of Variation Order Requests, and implement accepted Variation Orders with regards to schedule, manpower and cost plans

Qualifications and experience

Technical and/or commercial education (Bachelor or similar relevant higher education). Relevant experience can compensate for formal education

At least 3 years of experience as a planner, preferably from maritime or offshore industry

Proven understanding of Project Management and Project Control techniques and standards (PM certification not a formal requirement))

Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft-based business and project management applications

Good verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English languages
