Senior Mainframe/COBOL Developer - Banking Systems

As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to work with complex systems that support critical banking services.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications running on mainframe.
  • Analyze, design, and implement changes in our banking systems.
  • Ensure high quality and stability in our deliveries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand and implement new requirements.
  • Mentor and train junior developers.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in COBOL programming and/or other mainframe technologies.
  • Experience with mainframe environments (preferably IBM z/OS).
  • Preferably understanding of banking systems and financial transactions.
  • Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language), DB2, and CICS.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Norwegian and English.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
