Job Title
Entrepreneur-Sustainable Travel
This position is unique, innovative, and forward-looking. Applicants will actively participate in shaping the role. The job description is flexible and should be understood as less fixed than for traditional roles.
Location
Ytterli Farm, Fjørå, Norway (in one of Norway's most beautiful natural landscapes)
Vision
Creating and delivering sustainable travel experiences in the fjords of Norway with focus on nature, culture, food, history, education, and knowledge dissemination. We will offer meaningful and small foot-print experiences.
Position
Shape and realize the vision. You will tackle the challenge with the freedom to shape approaches and solutions. Varied tasks that evolve over time. An active role in adjacent businesses.
We are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset who has the motivation and potential to realize the concept. You have a sustainable vision for the concept that you believe in, can communicate, and wish to implement.
Possible Responsibilities
(Will be adapted in dialogue with the applicant)
- Develop and implement sustainable travel experiences.
- Identify, create, and manage relationships with local partners.
- Hands-on approach in delivering the experiences.
- Identify and attract clients.
- Logistics before, during, and after clients are at the location.
- Facilitate the creation of a new company.
- Active participation in adjacent businesses.
Desired Qualifications and Personal Characteristics

- Demonstrated ability to set goals, produce results, and overcome challenges.
- Vision for and belief in sustainable travel in the region.
- Creativity, resilience, self-discipline, strong thinking and problem solving abilities, the capacity for self-directed learning, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong communication skills.
- IT skills and use of AI tools (the philosophy behind this will be further explained).
- All necessary qualifications to meet the agreed responsibilities.
