We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Market Researcher, preferably with Chlore alkali or oil ang gas or chemicals or water treatment, waste water treatment or desalination industry background, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for approaching chemical-consuming companies in Oman, identifying key decision-makers, setting up meetings, and conducting interviews to gather insights on their feedstock usage.
Key Responsibilities:
Networking with Omani and Indan experts in Oman industries.
Identify and approach chemical-consuming companies in Oman.
Establish contact with the appropriate personnel within these organizations.
Schedule and conduct interviews to gather information on feedstock usage.
Compile and report findings to management.
Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts.

• Salary: 500 – 1500 OMR depending on the capabilities. Raise in salary is possible after 1 year of proper and supportive cooperation.
• Working hours and days: Sunday to Thursday 8 – 17, Muscat with travels to Salalah and other industrial areas.
• Overtime: Salary is fixed amount.
• Food: Negative, but for missions will be paid for, fairly.
• Accommodation in working missions and travels: Positive,
• Accommodation in Muscat or Salalah: Negative, since the candidate must be a resident in Oman for few years and have experience with the existing business and industrial network.
• Transport: Positive for working missions and travels. Negative for Muscat office and Salalah office.
• Contract period: 1 year and extendable if (1) the employee performs proper and supportive cooperation and (2) the employee was able to help in marketing and sales of chemicals or in trading. The 1 year period includes a 3 month experimental period which both parties can end the contract in solo, within this 3 months.
• Visa type / cost: The candidate must be a resident in Oman and have permission for work. No visa cost.
• Medical insurance: Positive
• Joining & return ticket: Negative, since the candidate must be a resident in Oman for at least few years.

Other important points:
a) Having a university degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or related branches is a must.
b) Having previous working experience in Oman, in water treatment, waste water treatment, water desalination, oil well operating, oil well drilling, oil and gas companies, petrochemicals or refinery industry is a serious advantage.
c) The candidate should have worked in Oman for few years and have rational understanding of Oman business and industries environment.
d) The candidate should be capable for approaching and contacting industrial companies and chemicals traders, find the right person, interview them professionally and report us about their raw material and chemicals consumption. Detailed work package and scope will be presented to the employee after employment. The employee will receive our support in doing the job.
