This role has the overall responsibility for 24/7 365 end to end Event, Incident, Change and Service management and continual Service Improvement for Client Oman’s Virtualized Telco Cloud.
The candidate requires deep understanding 5G & Cloud Technologies, Data centre infrastructure and familiarity with NFV, SDN, hybrid/private Telco clouds ecosystems.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Act as SPOC for Telco Cloud Operation 24*7*365 days.
Designs and provisions Telco cloud infrastructure considering Cloud native architecture and deployment models. Creates Container Platform Cluster. Implements CI/CD Paa S Dev Ops Toolchain.
Ensure Operational processes and guidelines are within agreed SLAs/OLAs.
Responsible for restoring all incidents impacting or degrading services of Client Oman, as early as possible and maintaining maximum Network & Service availability in coordination with MS suppliers and partners.
Ensure proactive periodic Health check of Network / applications /systems and 100% back up of Network configuration.
Accountable for Core Network, Data Centre ecosystems, and their performance, capacity, security and disaster recovery, logs and data management.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
Strong data Analytics skills
Be able to work independently and must have prior knowledge on how to manage, escalate and resolve telecom and IT technology issues in a management service context.
Must have managed Mobile Core Cloud, NFVI, VNF infrastructure extensively for a Telco Environment.
Good understanding of 5G Call flow & End to End Network Architecture
Ability to understand, adapt and maintain Next Generation OSS / BSS tools for Automated and Cognitive Operation.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
At least 3 years hands on work experience on Virtualized 5G Mobile Core, NFVI (SGW, PGW, MME, Vo LTE,HLR etc) on Telco Cloud.
Understanding of Cloud and Virtualized network Environment is a must. Should have worked on VNF, NFV, SDN environments.
Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows server, shell/bash scripting, server management
Applies knowledge of Storage, Compute, Security Services.
Able to perform administration of hybrid cloud environment, Configuration of HA/DR.

5G & Cloud Service Availability, accessibility, Performance, and end customer experience.
All applications, solutions to be on the latest s/w version.
100% backup of all Cloud Nodes, applications, configurations, DR recovery and business continuity
Compliance to ITIL, ETOM processes and agile ways of working.
Maintains and updates documentation relating to services offered Provide reports, statistics and KPI dashboards as per agreed timelines and scope Direct reports:
