Position Overview:
The 2D/3D Modeler at Grand City Developing is responsible for creating high-quality visual representations of architectural and urban planning designs, including 2D blueprints and 3D models. The role involves close collaboration with architects, town planners, and other departments to bring concepts to life, ensuring accuracy in detail and alignment with the project’s overall design vision. This position requires a high level of creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Key Responsibilities:

• 2D and 3D Modeling:
• Create detailed 2D drawings and layouts based on project specifications.
• Develop realistic 3D models for residential, commercial, and urban spaces, ensuring they align with the project’s vision.
• Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations for presentations, proposals, and project approvals.
• Collaboration with Design Teams:
• Work closely with architects, town planners, and engineers to translate design concepts into detailed 2D and 3D models.
• Interpret sketches, blueprints, and CAD designs to create models that reflect the intended spatial layout and structural design.
• Collaborate with the Planning and Development team to ensure that all designs meet regulatory and zoning requirements.
• Technical Drawing and Detailing:
• Draft precise 2D technical drawings and architectural layouts for site planning, elevations, sections, and floor plans.
• Develop detailed 3D models that include material textures, lighting, and environmental elements.
• Ensure all drawings and models are accurate and meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Rendering and Visualization:
• Create photorealistic renderings, animations, and walkthroughs to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Produce visual presentations for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to support decision-making and approvals.
• Enhance models with lighting, textures, and environmental details to produce realistic visual outputs.
• Project Revisions and Updates:
• Modify and update 2D/3D designs based on feedback from project leads, stakeholders, and design reviews.
• Ensure timely delivery of models and drawings in accordance with project schedules.
• Maintain a clear versioning system to track changes and revisions in the design process.
• Software Proficiency:
• Utilize industry-standard software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, 3ds Max, or Blender for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Employ rendering software like V-Ray, Lumion, or Unreal Engine to create high-quality visualizations.
• Stay updated on the latest software tools and trends in 3D modeling and visualization.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that all 2D/3D designs maintain a high level of detail and accuracy.
• Conduct thorough reviews of models and drawings before submission to ensure they meet quality and project standards.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure consistency between different phases of design and development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design, Animation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, 3ds Max, Revit, Blender, etc.
• Experience in rendering software like V-Ray, Lumion, or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex designs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position based in Pakistan.
• The role may require collaboration with cross-functional teams and occasional travel for site visits.

Pay: Up to Rs60,000.00 per month
