We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for driving growth and expanding PAR’s reach within the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agri-data landscape.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agriculture sector, focusing on expanding PAR’s client base and enhancing market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, brokers, traders, and manufacturers to foster long-term partnerships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and promote PAR’s range of services, including daily commodity prices, crop surveys, and custom reports.
- Utilize PAR’s extensive data offerings to craft compelling proposals and presentations, demonstrating the value of our data services to potential clients.
- Work closely with internal teams, including data analysts and research staff, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with the company’s goals and service offerings.
- Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client acquisition, and sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
- Develop and pitch customized data solutions and reports based on client requirements, leveraging PAR’s diverse data sources and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be a plus.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the agricultural or data services sector.
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
