Job Title: Civil Engineer - Planning and Structural

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specialized in Planning and Structural aspects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of various civil engineering projects, with a primary focus on structural integrity and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Structural Design: Utilize advanced engineering principles and software to design safe and cost-effective structural solutions for various construction projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough structural analyses using software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools to assess the integrity and stability of proposed designs, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations governing construction and engineering practices, ensuring that all projects adhere to relevant codes and standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs within overall project plans.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle, conducting site inspections and performance evaluations to verify compliance with design specifications and industry best practices.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation to communicate project requirements, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project designs or implementation strategies, developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to minimize adverse impacts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural design and planning.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Auto CAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (SAP2000, ETABS).
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices.
• Advanced certifications or training in structural engineering or project management.
