About the Organization: Pak Mission Society (PMS) is a national relief and development organization established in 2004 and registered on 13 February 2008 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at the Office of the Provincial Registrar Joint Stock Companies & Societies, Peshawar, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Pak Mission Society was initiated by a group of Christian professionals whose collective vision was to bring hope and love by responding to human suffering and disasters through emergency relief efforts and delivering long-term rehabilitation and development programs.Pak Mission Society was established to reach and serve unreached and underprivileged communities regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, religion, and social background. The organization aims to catalyse holistic transformation and development through relationships based on dignity and respect and the transparent, fair, rights-based allocation of relief and development resources.
Since its inception, Pak Mission Society (PMS) has focused on working with communities in Pakistan’s most difficult-to-access and impoverished areas such as District Kohistan and District Shangla in the north of Pakistan, District Sanghar in Sindh, District Rajanpur in Punjab, District Peshawar in KP and District Lasbella in Balochistan.
Job Summary:
To Provide overall technical and programmatic quality in implementation, compliance with PMS rules and regulations, and the timely submission of all deliverables, including BOQs, drawings, and social and technical feasibilities and monitoring construction activities.
Job Responsibilities:

Planning and coordinating construction activities: He will be responsible for planning and coordinating all the construction activities that take place at a field site. This includes scheduling, budgeting, and managing resources.
Ensuring safety and quality control: He will ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely and meet the required quality standards. This involves conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Managing subcontractors and workers: He will be responsible for managing subcontractors and workers at the project site. This includes supervising workers, ensuring that they have the necessary training and equipment, and managing their work schedules.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings: He must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that construction activities are carried out per the specifications.
Reporting progress to project managers: Provide regular progress reports to project managers, outlining the status of construction activities, any issues encountered, and any changes in the schedule or budget.
Liaising with stakeholders: Liaise with stakeholders such as architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure that all construction activities comply with regulations and meet project requirements.

Job Specifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or relevant field from HEC Recognized University or equivalent qualification.

Work Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a comparable social and development sector in the same position.
Experience of working with NGO/INGO and marginalized & disadvantaged communities of Khairpur will be preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Technical and programmatic quality in implementation
Understanding of integrated and participatory approach
Computer literacy in Outlook, MS Word, Power Point, Excel, and Internet
Working knowledge of Auto CAD software
Record Keeping (Documentation, Report, and Data Base)
