Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor to join our expanding team. The M&E Advisor will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing the M&E framework for our interventions and programs. This role is critical in ensuring that our initiatives achieve their intended outcomes and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• M&E Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of the M&E strategy for educational programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
• Monitoring & Evaluation Framework: Design and manage M&E frameworks, including data collection methods, indicators and reporting systems to track program progress and impact.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to assess program effectiveness, prepare comprehensive reports and provide actionable recommendations for program improvements.
• Capacity Building: Provide training and support to program staff and partners on M&E best practices and tools.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal and external M&E standards and quality assurance procedures.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, including donors, government agencies and community organizations to ensure effective M&E processes and reporting.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain and disseminate knowledge on M&E practices and trends, contributing to the organization’s learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Statistics, Development Studies or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation within the education sector or a non-profit organization.
• Skills:
• Proven experience in developing and managing M&E frameworks and systems.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and capacity building.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and compliance standards.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Urdu is required. Additional regional languages are a plus.
