Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Female Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our menu with pastry creations while also ensuring the highest quality in our existing product. Additionally, you will take an active role in training and mentoring our interns, helping to develop the next generation of culinary talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Development: Introduce a variety of new and seasonal pastry items that align with our brand vision and customer preferences.
Quality Control: Ensure consistency and excellence in all pastry items, from preparation to presentation.
Training & Development: Mentor and train interns, helping them develop pastry skills, including baking techniques, presentation, and kitchen best practices.
Recipe Creation: Design and refine recipes, maintaining balance between creativity and cost-efficiency.
Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of ingredients and manage inventory for the pastry section.
Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate timing and maintain the smooth operation of the dessert menu.
Hygiene & Safety: Ensure that the pastry section complies with all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-quality establishment.
• Expertise in baking techniques and a passion for pastry arts.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, particularly in a teaching and mentoring role.
• Creative flair for developing new, innovative desserts.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in training or mentoring kitchen staff or interns.
• Ability to adapt to changing trends and introduce new menu concepts.
