Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Solar Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy production. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on solar PV systems, including cleaning, inspections, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with solar PV systems, including inverters, combiner boxes, and wiring.
- Conduct site assessments to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, test results, and repair work.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs and support.
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
- Valid electrical license with experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- 2+ years of experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with solar PV system components, including inverters, combiner boxes, and monitoring systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift up to 15-20KGs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
