Qualification
Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Curriculum Development, Education, Business Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience

• Strong expertise in curriculum design and teaching and learning material development for Environmental Education
• Minimum 4 years of experience in curriculum and teaching and learning material development.
• Minimum 3 years of curriculum implementation experience in schools.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to create clear, engaging, and effective teaching and learning material.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using design and graphical tools
• Proven experience in developing educational resources for large-scale educational programs.
• Experience in teaching and understanding classroom dynamics.
• Knowledge of various approaches to education, learning theories, pedagogy, assessment, blended learning, and traditional & non-traditional education.
• Demonstrable competence and experience required in traditional learning, assessment, training development, delivery, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Subject Specialist in designing and developing grade-specific (ECE – Grade 8) print content on “Environments for Living”, that is aligned with the Pakistan National Curriculum goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes.
• Assists Subject Lead in the creation of instructional materials, resources, and lesson plans tailored to different grade levels and subject areas.
• Ensure integration of inquiry-based, hands-on activities, problem-solving, project-based, and experiential learning opportunities, and interdisciplinary projects to engage students
• in active learning.
• Facilitate Subject Lead in the development of supplementary educational resources, such as workbooks, multimedia materials, gamified content, and online resources.
• Assist in the creation of interactive learning tools, educational games, and digital platforms to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Ensure materials are engaging, relevant, and supportive of diverse learning styles and classroom environments.
• Assist the Lead in regularly reviewing and updating the curriculum content to maintain its relevance and effectiveness, integrating feedback from teachers and educational experts.
• Ensure all materials are accurate, inclusive, and reflect the latest educational research and practices.
• Assist the Lead Subject Specialist in incorporating digital tools and resources into the curriculum to enhance teaching methodologies and support teachers in implementing technology in the classroom.
• Facilitate the Lead Subject Specialist in the design, development, and implementation of training sessions for teachers, management, and school staff on implementing climate change and the environmental literacy program.
