X-Ray Technician/ Medical Imaging Technologist

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures X-Rays, according to physician orders and protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment settings to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents and follow established emergency procedures when necessary. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, interpret findings, and communicate results.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the imaging department. Participate in quality assurance activities, such as image quality assessments and equipment performance checks. Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid license or registration as an X-ray Technician from the relevant regulatory authority in Pakistan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-ray Technician, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting. Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and other imaging modalities, including digital radiography systems.
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning techniques and anatomy. Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulations.
- Fluency in Urdu and English languages for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
