We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and contribute to an efficient kitchen operation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support the kitchen team in various food preparation tasks
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely and accurate food production
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification in food safety is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
