We are seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic and Marine Construction Technician to work
on diverse watercraft projects. This role involves working outdoors in shaded areas and requires
a combination of mechanical and basic construction skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install outboard motors on pontoon boats
- Perform small motor repairs and minor marine maintenance
- Conduct wiring and hydraulic work
- Assist in small crane construction on small barges
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on various watercraft
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in marine mechanics and basic watercraft construction
- Proficiency in wiring and hydraulic systems
- Ability to provide and use own tools
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors (shaded areas provided)
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
Preferred:
- Certification in marine mechanics or related field
- Experience with a wide range of boat types and marine equipment
- Knowledge of marine safety regulations and best practices
