We are seeking a new or experienced Over the Road Truck Driver with a valid CDL to join our team. As an essential part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and upholding safety standards.
*Responsibilities*
- Drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers
- Transport goods over long distances following a set route schedule
- Operate manual transmission vehicles proficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts when necessary
*Requirements*
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in route driving and handling different truck types
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,082.00 - $1,348.00 per week
