Respons Able Safety Staffing is one of the few agencies in the country that specializes in industrial safety staffing. Our company provides a level of thoroughness, personal attention, and training that no regular staffing agency, or safety consultancy can provide.

Respons Able has an immediate need for a Safety Technician with SST Training with Southern Companies or a Southern Companies contractor for a one month project. The Safety Tech will support the assigned site Safety Management Plan needs under the client supervisor's direction.

Compensation: Depending on experience level. Per diem $125 a day with .655 cents per mile traveled. 50+ hour work week.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in industrial construction safety or civil construction safety, hazard recognition, accident investigation, and root cause analysis
• Must have Southern companies SST Training (Required-no exceptions)
• Working knowledge of state and local DOT requirements
• Demonstrates effective communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects, has strong training and interpersonal skills
• A positive disposition demonstrates passion, integrity, and responsibility
• Basic computer competency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn client systems as required
• Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) measures, programs, and procedures
• Must be able to pass a monitored 10 panel drug test and background check
